Poll question: If the power went out, do you know where your working flashlight is?

Answer options: → Yes, and I know the batteries are good → I know where one is, but I’m not sure it works → I’d use my phone → No

Poll description: We want to know where [City/Town] stands before the next outage. Storms can knock out power for hours or days, and a phone flashlight uses the battery you need for weather alerts. When this poll closes, we’ll repost it with the results and a short outage checklist.

POLL REPOST

In the poll below, we asked, If the power went out, do you know where your working flashlight is?

[Insert your results here, for example: “X percent of you said you’d use your phone.”]

Put a flashlight where you can reach it in the dark, and check that the batteries work. During an outage in [City/Town]:

→ Use flashlights instead of candles → Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed → Never run a generator indoors or in a garage

Did you check your flashlight batteries?
